Join Mavis Tires & Brakes in the Greenville, NY area as a full‑time Automotive Mechanic. Mavis operates over 2,000 retail locations across the United States, making it one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the country.
About the Position As an Automotive Mechanic at Mavis, you will inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of undercar repairs, including brakes, struts and shocks.
You will also complete state‑mandated inspections, change oil and filters, check fluids, replace worn parts, and dismount, mount, rotate and balance tires.

Qualifications To be eligible you must:
be at least 18 years of age
be legally authorized to work in the United States
possess at least 2 years of experience or training in automotive repair and maintenance, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
own an extensive personal toolbox for undercar repairs
Preferred additional qualifications:
state inspection license(s)
ASE certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5)
Physical Requirements: The role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, pulling, reaching, and repetitive movements. Mechanics must regularly lift or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
