We are seeking an experienced

Field Service Technician (FST), Electrical

for the Corrugated Board, Flexo Folder Gluer, and Rotary Die‑Cutting product line. The FST provides timely and efficient machine repairs and installations primarily for customers in the Corrugated Board product line and serves as the front‑line representative for the BOBST product range. Key Requirements

90% Travel Required – Candidates must be flexible to travel extensively throughout the US and Canada. Ideal candidate located within 1 hour of a major international airport. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the packaging or finishing converting industry working as an electrician on Flexo folder‑gluers. Background in electrical engineering. Diagnosing faults and making recommendations in a customer environment. Technical knowledge of variable frequency drives, motors, and basic AC/DC. OEM experience. Strong analysis skills, attention to detail, independent work style. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multi‑task in a dynamic environment. Fluency with metric system. Education

Technical school or college related to Electrical Science, Technology Science, Electrical Engineering, or Electro‑mechanical Engineering. Compensation & Benefits

Base salary $75,000–$85,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Eligible for overtime pay, per diem allowance during travel, travel time compensation, comprehensive health, dental, & vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, vacation and holiday pay, and ongoing training and development opportunities. Principal Responsibilities

Perform machine service (electrical & mechanical), including repair and installation of new machines, relocation of existing equipment, customer training, preventative maintenance, ordering parts necessary for installations and repairs, troubleshooting problems, and proactively recommending necessary service and maintenance programs. Experience

Programmable Logic Controllers: 1 year (preferred) Seniority Level
