What to Expect
Tesla is currently looking for a Quality CSA Construction Manager to support infrastructure at our Gigafactory Nevada site.
What You’ll Do
Develop and monitor a robust QA/QC processes and standards for the quality program while confirming that the scopes of work conform to approved Design drawings, specifications, Tesla codes, building codes and methods
Interface between design, construction, and facilities as well as the general construction support
Provide training of personnel to ensure awareness of quality procedures and specific responsibilities in the QA/QC and coordinate any quality issues between the design, construction, and facilities department
Audit QA/QC activities of staff and subcontractors as often and as necessary to assess conformance with the QA/QC program
Examine all civil, structural and architectural submittals for quality assurance and provide comments to ensure all documents are complete
Perform quality CSA reviews of design documentation for compliance with stated requirements, including vendor quality manuals and company quality
Provide visual inspection and/or observation for construction quality control of all CSA & life safety systems and installations
What You’ll Bring
5+ years experience in construction quality control & quality assurance (QA/QC) programs
Knowledge of Codes and Standards (ANSI, AISC, ASCE, ICC, IBC, IFC)
Experience in personnel management
Experience in civil, structural, building envelope, and typical underground utilities
Experience working with and managing contractors, consultants and vendors
Ability to adapt to a fast paced, hands‑on, working environment
