Mechanical Engineer
Location: Hagerstown, MD Overview:
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer II to support the design, testing, and improvement of advanced aerospace and defense systems. This role involves developing and delivering complex mechanical structures and systems that meet high standards of performance, safety, and innovation. Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and test mechanical systems and components for aircraft and related products. Create 3D models and detailed engineering drawings using CAD tools Support product development through all phases—from concept to production. Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and manufacturing teams. Ensure designs meet quality, safety, and compliance standards. Qualifications:
2+ years of relevant mechanical design or engineering experience. Understanding of mechanical design principles, GD&T, and FEA/CFD analysis. Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance. Experience:
Background in aerospace, defense, or commercial aircraft industries. Knowledge of manufacturing and production processes.
