R25\_04717**SUMMARY**The Shipping/Receiving Supervisor is responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of paperwork to accompany shipments of all products from Radford, Virginia Operations as well as loading and maintaining shipping and scheduling information into the computer. The Leader is ultimately responsible for overseeing department standard work and sustains improvement plans.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities*** Own leadership responsibility for the shipping department inclusive of coordinating daily tasks for the shipping/receiving team.* Drive and sustain changes using RBS Tools to improve performance relative to department and factory metrics.* Ensure compliance with the required export documentation for internation shipments.* Work with the finance team to provide appropriate documentation as needed.* Facilitate daily management.* Support 6S, Kamishibai and other audits.* Must be able to work a non-standard shift.**Critical Competencies*** In addition, the Shipping Leader must be able to perform the Shipping Coordinator, Shipping Associate, Receiving Associate and Packing Associate duties.**Education and Experience Requirements*** High School Diploma or GED required* Bachelor’s degree preferred* Strong computer skills required* Experience with Oracle preferred* Prior experience in a shipping department preferred* Forklift Experience / Certification preferred**Physical Demand and Work Environment:**
