You Belong Here. CDC Process Specialist I, 2nd Shift New Bern, NC / Full-time Your responsibilities
Process Specialist is responsible for knowing all warehouse positions in shipping and receiving, backing up key personnel when needed, and training new associates. The CDC Process Specialist also assists in maintaining product flow and promoting a team environment. This includes: meeting production goals, safety awareness, and quality levels. Provide proper training for warehouse positions, including methods, quality, safety, productivity, and product handling knowledge. Perform all warehouse floor positions as needed due to absenteeism or business needs. Define and solve problems within the warehouse area. Perform all required job functions safely, report problems immediately to the Warehouse Supervisor or Team Leader. Complete necessary paperwork such as quality checks, productivity reports, layered audits, etc. Utilize SAP when needed. Maintain a neat and orderly work area. Ensure quality throughout the logistics processes. Follow up daily with Warehouse Supervisor to foster a positive team environment. Perform other duties as assigned. Your profile
High School Diploma – Required Forklift Certification – Required 0-2 Years of Experience in a Production Environment – Required Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, safety, and environmental regulations. Knowledge of warehouse machinery, equipment, work stations, basic tools, and computer systems. Ability to effectively train personnel. Understanding of logistics and warehouse processes, safety, and environmental standards. Warehouse experience in shipping and receiving processes. Operational knowledge of CDC equipment and SAP related to the area. The pay range depends on location, skills, and work environment. If bonus or incentives are applicable, payments can range from 0% to 200% of the target, as detailed in the plan document. Benefits include: Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability benefits, Employee Assistance Program, FSA, and HSA starting from the first day of the month following hire. Wellness Program with potential for lower medical premiums. 401(k) plan with employer match and profit sharing, starting after 30 days of service.
