area. A Supply Chain/Materials Planner role requires 5-10 years of experience and an SCM degree to manage material flow, reduce costs, and ensure production support by executing MRP in SAP ECC, optimizing inventory/safety stock, and driving continuous process improvement and quality compliance.

Responsibilities

Maintain the seamless flow of materials to support manufacturing operations.

Ensure daily material availability by executing and monitoring MRP results.

Release purchase requisitions and coordinate with buyers/functional teams to prevent production delays.

Maintain accurate material master data and planning parameters in SAP ECC.

Balance service levels, inventory targets, and demand fluctuations for production goals.

Identify and implement opportunities for improving planning accuracy and communication.

Streamline communication between Planning, Purchasing, and Quality, and reduce waste.

Investigate and resolve material shortages, capacity constraints, and exception messages.

Collaborate across functions and escape issues through tiered meeting structures.

Drive efficient inventory utilization using SMOG analysis and safety stock optimization.

Skills

Review, analyze, and update safety stock and reordering parameters in SAP ECC.

Track, report, and facilitate on-time material availability, testing, and release.

Create, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.

Participate in quality management processes (deviation, CAPA, Change control).

Review and execute raw material expiration extension and stock conversion.

Participate in and execute assigned projects.

Back up production planning as needed.

Education and Experience

BS or MSC in Supply Chain Management.

5-10 Years of experience.
