Base pay range: $82,900.00/yr - $145,100.00/yr Overview

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Mechanical Engineer in Utah. As part of our team, you’ll have the chance to work on projects that bring innovative solutions to our local, national and international municipal clients in water and wastewater. Responsibilities

Design water and wastewater pump stations, treatment facilities/processes for water and wastewater plants, conveyance systems, and technical writing. Produce construction drawings and specifications. Use experience to design pump stations for water and wastewater, including pipe sizing calculations, selection of pump type, and design of process facilities (primary, secondary, tertiary, and solids treatment systems). Design rotating equipment (centrifugal pumps, blowers), piping systems, valves and appurtenances for in-plant process piping, chemical systems, and hydraulic studies. Collaborate with process control engineers and other disciplines to develop integrated solutions. Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related degree At least 8 years of experience in water/wastewater process mechanical engineering for municipal or industrial clients Detailed mechanical design experience for water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and conveyance systems Experience developing P&ID’s in coordination with process control engineers Professional Engineer (P.E.) License Preferred / Additional experience

Hydraulic modeling experience Experience designing piping systems, valves, and appurtenances for water and wastewater treatment plant process piping (ductile iron, steel, PVC, HDPE, copper, etc.) Design implementation of rotating equipment and process treatment equipment Design experience developing plans and specifications Experience with Design-Build, CMAR/CM-GC and/or EPC projects Construction support services for water and wastewater projects or related industries Benefits and compensation

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
