Kelly Engineering is seeking a hands-on Injection Molding Process Engineer for a direct hire opportunity with a leading manufacturing company in Phoenix, AZ. The Injection Molding Process Engineer is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating manufacturing equipment and processes to produce high-quality injection molded products. This role is essential in supporting production efficiency, quality, and innovation across manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate molding efforts for new product launches and ongoing production support Develop, assess, and document new and existing injection molding processes Identify and implement improvements in product quality, productivity, and overall equipment efficiency Provide hands-on technical leadership and mentorship to process technicians, operators, and other molding personnel Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions to improve yield, throughput, and part quality Collaborate with vendors to address machine and material performance issues Monitor mold performance and recommend repairs or refurbishment as needed Qualifications
B.S. degree in Plastics, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field Strong background in injection molding processing, tooling, equipment, materials, and quality systems RJG Master Molder certification is a plus, but not required What to Expect Next
