Overview
Grace to You and Peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, New Creation Anglican Church is the current working name of an Anglican Church in North America (ACNA) congregation launched in 2019 in Hagerstown, MD.
We are seeking to call a faithful Christian unafraid to preach biblical repentance and unashamed to boldly proclaim the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ,
who is ordained to the priesthood or is in the ordination process within some jurisdiction of the ACNA. We have around 35 regular attenders, most of whom are under the age of 45, prayerfully dedicated to building up a strong and healthy self-sustaining orthodox Anglican parish in this place. But we have no shepherd. As such, we desire to find a priest committed to doctrinally sound teaching and practice, rich liturgical worship, robust Christian catechesis and the cultivation of a muscular church for life in a post-Christian society. The mission field here is fertile, with a growing population and no nearby ACNA congregations. God has also richly blessed this congregation by gathering a body of faithful and steadfast lay leaders and members equipped with the diverse giftings integral to raise up a flourishing Gospel ministry. New Creation Anglican, therefore, offers an amazing opportunity to shepherd the souls of the Father’s beloved sons and daughters and to fruitfully labor alongside them to tangibly advance the soul saving Gospel of Christ in this community.
