We are seeking an experienced and motivated
Concrete Foreman
with strong leadership skills and at least
5 years of hands-on experience supervising operations . This position plays a critical role in managing and overseeing daily concrete projects, including curb and gutter, sidewalks, driveways, and flatwork. The ideal candidate is highly knowledgeable in site preparation, crew management, and concrete finishing techniques, especially involving curb machines. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate concrete crew operations on site, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. Operate and troubleshoot curb machines (e.g., Power Curber or similar) with precision and consistency. Interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate layout and formwork. Monitor and manage job progress, materials, equipment, and labor productivity. Ensure compliance with all safety standards, company policies, and project specifications. Communicate effectively with project managers, inspectors, and subcontractors. Train and mentor crew members on best practices and machine operation. Maintain detailed daily logs, timecards, and project reports as required. Identify and resolve problems on the job site with minimal supervision Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Concrete Foreman. Curb machine operation experience is a plus but not required, Proficient in reading site plans, grades, and construction drawings. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to manage schedules, resources, and personnel effectively. Working knowledge of concrete tools, finishing techniques, and formwork. Must be reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required. Work Conditions & Physical Requirements
Standard schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (subject to change based on job demands, weather, etc.). Must be available for overtime, weekends, and standby when required. Frequently lift/move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally more than 100 lbs. Physical demands may include climbing, kneeling, crouching, twisting, dragging, pushing, and pulling. All work is outdoors, in various weather conditions, and near heavy equipment. Must use all required PPE, including hard hats, safety vests, safety glasses, appropriate footwear, and seat belts. (Back support brace available upon request.) Ability to read and interpret construction plans, safety signs, and written instructions. Strong teamwork, coordination, and manual dexterity are essential Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. Reliable transportation to and from job sites. Must pass a drug screening and background check. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
