The Highland Park Housing Commission requests sealed bid proposals for the Roofing Replacement Project – 2022; located in the City of Highland Park, owned by the Highland Park Housing Commission. Bid documents will be available on Tuesday, October 4, 2022; interested bidders may obtain bid documents via e-mail at no cost by emailing CLM Architects LLC, clmarchitects@ameritech.net and requesting in writing to receive Roofing Replacement Project – 2022 Bid Proposal Documents. A Pre-Bid Conference will be conducted at the Highland Park Housing Commission offices – 13725 John R at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 11, 2022. Paper copies of the Project Manual, Specifications and Drawings can be obtained for a non-refundable fee of $100.00 per set. To obtain paper copies interested bidders must request a set of the bid documents via e-mail to Mark L Cryderman clmarchitects@ameritech.net; the non-refundable fee must be received prior to receipt of the documents. The work, in general, consists of: the removal & replacement of asphalt shingle roofing systems and a single-ply roofing system at six (6) homes/apartment buildings located in the City of Highland Park. Including but not limited to the removal and replacement of an existing asphalt shingle system & single-ply roofing system exposing the roof deck; replacement of roof deck, aluminum clad rake & fascia, gutter & downspouts as indicated on the drawings/specifications; and other associated work items as noted on the drawings & within the specifications of the contract documents. Bids will be received at the offices of the Housing Commission until 3:00 p.m. EDT, October 20, 2022, and will be publicly opened and read aloud at 3:05 p.m. the same day. Bids received after 3:00 p.m., October 20, 2022, will be rejected in accordance with the Contract Documents and will be returned unopened to the Bidder. The Housing Commission reserves the right to accept any bids, to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities and/or informalities in any bid and to make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the Housing Commission. Bid Proposals shall be titled: Highland Park Housing Commission Roofing Replacement Project – 2022 and be delivered to: Highland Park Housing Commission 3820 Richfield Rd. Highland Park, MI 48506 Bids must be submitted on forms furnished by the Housing Commission and shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount.
