We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to assist the New Home Senior Project Manager with lot modifications and preparations for new home setups. This role is based out of Springfield, IL, with approximately 60% travel to communities in Illinois and Iowa. As a New Home Project Manager, you will: Complete all assigned home site surveys accurately and promptly. Manage permitting and utility compliance for home installations within your region. Conduct site walkthroughs to determine the scope of work for new home installations. Oversee all aspects of the new home installation process, including delivery, site preparation, and setup. Manage daily site prep and home setup vendors to ensure quality, timeliness, and safety. Train vendors on current installation standards to ensure compliance. Travel daily to assigned communities for site inspections and oversight. Maintain strong working relationships with Community Operations teams in your region. Communicate the status of all new home infills effectively with Community Operations. Adhere to all company and division policies and procedures at all times. Preferred: At least 3 years of project management or similar experience. Required: High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Possess working knowledge of physical facilities, including construction and renovation. Exhibit excellent customer service skills and the ability to collaborate with personnel at all levels. Develop and negotiate proposals and contracts with vendors and project partners. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook. Detail-oriented with strong organizational, time management, problem-solving, multitasking, and follow-through skills. Valid operator’s license and reliable transportation.
