Semiconductor Inventory Manager — Location: Austin, TX. 40 hours/week. Exempt. Immediate earliest start date. This is a full-time role with UT Austin-related operations under the Texas Institute for Electronics (TIE). About Us

Responsibilities
Develop and implement inventory control procedures and systems for semiconductor equipment, parts, and commodities. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment with the Procurement Department. Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy. Coordinate with Procurement and Warehouse teams to ensure timely receipt and storage of goods. Manage material expiration dates and apply FIFO practices as appropriate. Analyze inventory data and generate reports for management. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Train and supervise inventory staff as needed. Other related functions as assigned. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field 3 years of experience in inventory management Strong knowledge of inventory management software and systems (e.g., Warehouse Management Systems – WMS) Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong organizational and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools Preferred Qualifications
Five years of experience in inventory management Experience in setting up a new customer or onboarding process Salary
$70,000+ depending on qualifications Working Conditions
May work in all weather conditions May work around chemicals Lifting and moving up to 50 pounds Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation Use of manual dexterity (e.g., using a mouse) Required Materials
