Overview
Mission Linen Supply is currently looking for a Maintenance Technician to repair, maintain, install and troubleshoot industrial equipment, such as washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systems, and boilers. This in-plant position requires strong technical knowledge in industry equipment and the ability to work with varied mechanical/electrical systems. The starting pay is $24.00 - $27.00 per hour and depends on education, experience, qualifications, and location. Responsibilities
Perform routine preventive maintenance on the plant machines to ensure smooth operation. Start up and shutdown equipment in the morning and evening, including boiler, air compressor, pumps, valves, and related systems. Maintain lint traps, shaker screen barrels, oil levels, grease fittings, and water levels. Complete general and basic repairs on machinery; follow manufacturers\' maintenance schedules and document the process. Identify and report major repairs needed on machinery. Qualifications
High school diploma required. Minimum of two years of maintenance engineering experience; knowledge of machinery, electricity, electronics, plumbing, welding, boiler applications. Experience with mechanical troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics; ability to read manuals and schematics. Willingness to learn Steam Boiler, Electrical, Pneumatic, Schematics, Maintenance, Welding, and Plumbing. Training provided by Mission. Physical requirements
Requires standing or moving through the plant; some stooping, pulling, pushing, and working in cramped areas. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Benefits
