Overview
Operations Technician – Wright-Patterson AFB (WPAFB), Ohio. Chenega Military, Intelligence & Operations Support (MIOS) supports large-scale government operations by leveraging cutting-edge technology. Chenega Analytic Business Solutions (CABS) provides federal agencies and commercial customers with trusted insights into Records and Information Management, Administrative Solutions, Information Technology, Engineering, and Training. CABS is 8(a) certified and has grown quickly into a leader in the federal IT and Training environment. The Operations Technician shall provide services supporting the Air Force Research Laboratory at Wright-Patterson AFB (WPAFB). Responsibilities
Operate and monitor all equipment, resource distribution network, and ancillary support equipment during active operations. Coordinate with test cell personnel to deliver resources and protect CRAF equipment and personnel. Complete annual company and customer-required training, as required. Complete timesheets daily in an online system according to company policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
High school degree or GED equivalent 8+ years of technical experience or training in large rotating equipment and systems, including high-pressure, high-temperature process systems, vacuum systems, and electromechanical subsystems OR Trade school or related college-level technical curriculum shall be considered equivalent experience, subject to government approval, with 5+ years of on-the-job training required Must be a U.S. citizen Background check and Public Trust/NACI required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to comply with applicable codes and standards of the contract Ability to pass customer security requirements required Ability to attend all customer in-person meetings and conferences as required Ability to self-start and work independently or as a team Ability to interact verbally and in writing with all levels of staff, government personnel, and management professionally Possess strong problem-solving skills Travel up to 10% as required How you’ll grow
