This role ensures that transcript orders are processed accurately and in a timely manner to minimize delays in the student application process. The coordinator will troubleshoot and resolve any barriers related to transcript ordering, verify eligibility for third-party orders, and route incoming transcripts to the correct Undergraduate or Graduate database. The transcript coordinator will report to the Assistant Director of Shared Services and will work to identify areas for continuous improvement and will collaborate with the Recruitment team as needed to streamline the transcript ordering process.**Job Responsibilities:**Oversees the process for the request, receipt, input and record keeping of all incoming official online student transcripts from Parchment and the National Student Clearinghouse. Will be required to work under strict deadlines and will be responsible for ensuring processes/tasks are completed quickly and accurately. 50%Evaluate, develop, and enhance efficient workflows for transcript services by analyzing current processes, identifying opportunities for technical automation, and proposing innovative solutions. Maintain up-to-date documentation and a thorough understanding of all transcript service procedures. Collaborate regularly with the Assistant Director of Shared Services, providing updates as needed. Serve as a subject matter expert by training others and effectively communicating the knowledge base of the transcript service operations. 30%Takes ownership of the transcript and document request process, maintaining responsibility for accurate and timely completion. Communicates proactively with students and university departments to provide updates, clarify requirements, and ensure a positive service experience. 15%Other duties as assigned. 5%**Minimum Qualifications:**Bachelor's degree in Communication, Education, Business or related field with 1 year of experienceSpecific Experience:Communicate effectively in the oral and written form. Candidates must have strong analytical and problem solving skills. Excellent data entry skills and proven aptitude for attention to detail and accuracy is required; Proven ability to work independently and as a team member in a busy deadline oriented and varied environment with changing priorities; Must have Microsoft Office Suite Experience.*Degree Substitute: LSU values skills, experience, and expertise.
