We are seeking an Electronics Technician 4 to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit. As part of the SES Strategic Business Unit, you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates and maintains electronic security services including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, IT systems, perimeter defense and command and control systems for federal, local and commercial customers across high-growth markets. Responsibilities Install and maintain electronic security systems. Perform preventive maintenance requirements. Conduct inspections, evaluations, and inventory. Lead teams on large complex installation projects with limited supervision. Lead and document daily toolbox talks, ORMs and Safety Audits. Install and maintain equipment at local and global levels per design packages. Program and install head end equipment for Access Control, Intrusion Detection and CCTV systems. Troubleshoot and isolate systems and/or hardware at local and global levels. Lead on-site software commissioning and testing. Lead inspections, evaluations and inventory; perform take-offs from project drawings; create documentation and track RFIs. Design assist and provide feedback; document daily reports and project progress. Communicate project and team member issues/concerns to management. Create and manage project schedules; integrate IDS, ACS and CCTV systems. Forecast and manage project labor hours; communicate effectively with Supervisors and Subordinates. Guide and mentor technicians. Qualifications Clearance/Citizen Type: Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and may meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information. ACTIVE TS/SCI CLEARANCE with the ability to obtain a Polygraph is REQUIRED. Key Requirements Valid driver’s license; may require ongoing or intermittent use of a company vehicle. Acceptable driving record in accordance with policy. Education HS diploma or GED; Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours) or Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program or Graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program An additional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities Required Progressive Experience 8+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs 3 years of the above experience focused in electronic security systems Strong spoken, written and presentation skills Demonstrated experience working with multidisciplinary teams Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills is a plus Willingness to travel 50% Desired / Advantageous Qualifications Vendor certifications in IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems (e.g., CCURE, Lenel, Identiv/Hirsch Velocity, Bosch).
