Overview Ring is looking for a highly motivated and strategic Manager, for OEM/CM Business Team to lead our Contract Manufacturer (CM) management function within the Ring Business Management organization. This role is critical in driving end-to-end manufacturing strategies, managing external suppliers and CMs, and aligning global supply chain capabilities with Ring’s product roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development - Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing team, providing structural guidance and fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement. - Set clear priorities and ensure alignment of team execution with Ring’s business objectives.

Supplier & Contract Manufacturer Management - Act as Ring’s primary executive interface with global Contract Manufacturers (CMs), managing relationships to ensure optimal production efficiency, cost, quality, and delivery. - Lead CM selection, contract negotiation, and performance management processes across new product introductions (NPI) and sustaining products. - Build and maintain strategic, trust‑based partnerships with external suppliers and CMs to support Ring’s long‑term growth and innovation pipeline.

Cost & Contract Negotiation - Drive effective contract negotiations to secure best‑in‑class commercial terms, optimizing cost, flexibility, and risk mitigation. - Implement scalable cost reduction programs and efficiency initiatives to enhance supply chain competitiveness.

Strategic & Operational Excellence - Consolidate diverse internal stakeholder requirements (Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Product, Quality) into actionable CM strategies. - Oversee strategic RFQs, manufacturing footprint optimization, and technology readiness assessments to ensure alignment with Ring’s product roadmap. - Stay abreast of industry trends, tariffs, country‑of‑origin regulations, and evolving global business dynamics to inform CM strategies.

Business Communication & Influence - Prepare and deliver clear, concise, and impactful executive‑level communications and business documents. - Influence stakeholders across Amazon’s global ecosystem with data‑driven insights and well‑structured proposals.

Adaptability & Innovation - Embrace uncertainty and business changes with agility, maintaining a solution‑oriented and strategic mindset. - Identify and adopt scalable tools, systems, and processes to improve operational efficiency and decision‑making.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.

Solid experience in supplier and Contract Manufacturer (CM) management within the consumer electronics (CE) industry.

Proven track record in contract negotiations and cost management, with measurable results.

8+ years of people management experience leading and developing global teams.

Excellent professional business communication skills (English – written and verbal), with strong executive presence.

Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, manage change, and drive alignment among cross‑functional and global stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

MBA or advanced degree in Business, Operations, or related field.

Experience in consumer electronics product manufacturing and new product introductions (NPI).

Strong understanding of international supply chain dynamics, tariffs, and compliance requirements.

Experience implementing scalable tools and systems that improve efficiency in supplier/CM management.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into actionable strategies.
