Job Summary We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Paramedic to join our team. As a Paramedic, you will play a critical role in providing emergency medical care to individuals in need. This position requires excellent critical thinking skills, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and a passion for helping others.
Job Description Responsibilities Respond quickly to emergency calls and provide immediate medical assistance to those in need. Assess patients’ conditions and determine the appropriate treatment plan. Administer necessary medical interventions, including CPR, defibrillation, and wound care. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for each patient encounter. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and nurses, to ensure coordinated care. Continuously monitor patients’ vitals and adjust treatment plans, as necessary. Prepares, reports and maintain accurate records for Tennessee Workers Compensation claims. Conducts training for First Responders in the Plant. Keeps First Aid clinic in the plant stocked along with First Responder bags and performs monthly AED inspections. Requirements Valid certification as a Paramedic Proven experience in emergency medical services Strong knowledge of emergency medical procedures and protocols Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in high-stress environments and make quick and effective decisions. Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy equipment and patients. Willingness to build a First Responders Team in General Industry. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
