Responsibilities

Report directly to the Athletic Director and provide leadership and management to produce a quality intercollegiate team that represents a commitment to academic and athletic excellence. Perform on‑field coaching and instruction.

Remain consistent with CCC's commitment to the inherent value and dignity of all individuals by creating and nurturing a learning and working environment that affirms and leverages community traditions, heritages, perspectives, and experiences.

Perform on‑field coaching, teaching, and instruction.

Recruit student‑athletes.

Comply with all NJCAA rules and regulations governing intercollegiate athletics.

Maintain team and individual statistics; report scores to necessary outlets.

Adhere to sport budget, including travel, supply, and equipment lines.

Travel with team to and from all contests.

Monitor academic progress of student‑athletes.

Fundraise monies as needed.

Supervise and evaluate assistant coach(s).

Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.

Minimum Qualifications

Associate's degree with experience as a college or high school coach, with a proven ability to recruit student‑athletes.

Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, planning, leadership skills, attention to detail, flexibility, initiative, and sound judgment.

Ability and commitment to recruit, instruct, and motivate college student athletes.

Positive role model for young adults.

Valid driver's license required. Employment is contingent upon passing a motor vehicle record (MVR) check.
