Shift and Compensation 1st Shift: Mon‑Fri 7am‑3:30pm

Compensation: $60,000 – $65,000

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assign work assignments for all 2nd shift warehouse staff, ensuring customer specifications and delivery schedules.

Oversee loading of inbound/outbound freight per customer specifications.

Supervisor local, regional, and OTR drivers; communicate updates and changes.

Review deliveries for poor packing and conditions; alert relevant parties.

Oversee and assign processing of shipment paperwork, including scanning BOLs.

Ensure all shipments are recorded and verified; maintain accuracy.

Monitor quality and accuracy of shipments; update crew on changes.

Ensure staff meets customer requirements and training on any updates.

Update Tee Card board and TMW system.

Communicate with customers and respond to inquiries.

Communicate via e‑mail before end of each shift for smooth transition.

Ensure safety, training, and development of employees, drivers, and contractors (OSHA & RJW policies).

Oversee completion of all computer data entry; check for accuracy and efficiency.

Maintain and approve shift employee timesheets; monitor overtime.

Notify Warehouse Director of equipment/building problems and assist preventive maintenance.

Ensure adherence to AIB processes, procedures and guidelines.

Complete checklists for building, equipment and safety per SOP or policy; issue corrective actions.

Handle accident reporting and care of injured employees; notify HR and management.

Perform other tasks as instructed by Warehouse Manager or COO.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3+ years previous warehouse supervisory/managerial experience.

Dispatch experience.

Dock supervision experience.

Familiarity with Smart Turn or TMW software (plus).

Experience in Warehouse Management and LTL dispatch.

Knowledge of DOT regulations and requirements.

Education

Minimum of H.S. diploma or GED equivalent.

Some college preferred.
