Leads team members by managing and executing plant processes. Manages team members in attaining production and quality goals. Ensures appropriate resources (materials, equipment, and staffing needs) are available to maintain production schedules. Supports continuous improvement processes to ensure safety, quality, cost, and customer service goals are met. Creates and maintains an engaged and team-oriented workforce to improve business results. Team Leaders are usually on their feet in the production area about 80% of the shift. Qualifications
Required: 1+ year as a shift lead, shift supervisor, assistant manager, etc., OR an associate’s degree. Proven leadership, persuasive, initiative, analytical, and communication skills are necessary for success in this position. Must be a citizen or national of the United States, a lawful permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States. Applicants must not currently, or in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa. Training
Approximately six weeks are spent in a hands-on training environment before being assigned to a department. Team Leaders attend a virtual Inspired Hires orientation to increase product knowledge, company knowledge, and leadership skills. Six-month operational training program while on the job. Location and Shift
Most Team Leaders begin their career on second or third shift. Extended hours may be needed, including weekends. Team Leaders may work in environments below 40 degrees and in areas above 60 degrees. The base pay range for this position is $60,000-$75,000 per year. Benefits
