Aircraft Cabinet Technicians
in
Grand Junction, Colorado
to support corporate aircraft interior refurbishment projects. In this role, you will perform cabinet modifications, installations, and repairs with a focus on quality craftsmanship and adherence to FAA guidelines. If you have experience working on VIP aircraft interiors or luxury vehicles such as high-end RVs or yachts, this is a great opportunity to apply your skills in an aviation setting. Key Responsibilities:
Install, remove, modify, and repair aircraft cabinets and related interior components Perform re-laminating, veneering, and fabrication of custom cabinets Support minor electrical system installations related to interior cabin functions Complete daily turnover sheets and maintain accurate documentation Perform general shop maintenance and assist with equipment upkeep as needed Maintain a clean and safe work environment Work both independently and within a team to meet project deadlines Support larger interior modifications under the guidance of the Team Leader Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required 2+ years of experience working on corporate aircraft interiors preferred Comparable experience in luxury RV or yacht interiors will be considered Self-motivated with the ability to follow detailed instructions and work with minimal supervision Strong understanding of safety protocols and FAA regulations Capable of working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Comfortable communicating with colleagues, customers, vendors, and management Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Frequent bending, squatting, walking, and standing for long periods Manual dexterity and repetitive hand motion required Ability to work in and around aircraft in various positions and environments Primary work takes place in a heated hangar or interior shop Occasional work on aircraft located on the ramp Use of personal and powered hand tools, sanders, saws, and drills is required Occasional use of standard office equipment (computers, printers, etc.) STS Technical Services offers direct access to contract and full-time positions with industry-leading aviation companies.
