We’re looking for a Product Development/Production Assistant, Footwear & Accessories to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about product creation and execution eager to learn the full lifecycle—from concept to final production—within a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Responsibilities
Product Development Support
— Support the end-to-end product development process for seasonal footwear and accessories assortments, from concept through production. Product Development Support
— Manage and update product development trackers, line sheets, BOMs, and seasonal development calendars. Product Development Support
— Assist with sample tracking, vendor communication, and prototype organization across domestic and international partners. Product Development Support
— Coordinate product fittings and sample reviews; capture detailed notes and communicate changes to cross-functional partners. Materials & Sourcing
— Partner with the PD Manager to request, track, and organize material, trim, and color submissions. Materials & Sourcing
— Support material testing and maintain library organization. Materials & Sourcing
— Assist in cost analysis and margin tracking by consolidating vendor quotes and maintaining up-to-date cost sheets. Cross-Functional Collaboration
— Liaise daily with Design, Merchandising, and Production to ensure key deadlines and deliverables are met. Cross-Functional Collaboration
— Help prepare presentation materials and samples for internal reviews and milestone meetings. Cross-Functional Collaboration
— Communicate updates and delivery status to cross-functional teams in a timely, organized manner. Administrative & Operational Tasks
— Maintain digital and physical product archives. Administrative & Operational Tasks
— Manage vendor shipping logistics and track sample deliveries. Administrative & Operational Tasks
— Support the team in preparing for milestone meetings, fittings, and seasonal handovers. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Product Development, or related field. 1–2 years of experience in footwear and/or accessories. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and follow-up skills with both internal teams and external vendors. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite; experience with PLM systems is a plus. Passion for the SKIMS brand and understanding of our aesthetic and consumer mindset.
