About the role
Over the last two decades, we’ve seen several waves of software deployment models, from on‑prem to SaaS to bespoke platforms. With each wave came new deployment roles: implementation managers, solution engineers, and forward‑deployed engineers. Now, we believe a new phase is emerging: one defined not by implementing software, but by deploying intelligence In this role, you will be part of our Deployed Intelligence team, which will lead the charge into the new reality of accounting. This is an extremely customer‑facing role. You will be the face of Basis for your accounts, owning post‑sale success from kickoff to adoption to expansion. You will lead engagements, run workshops and training, and translate business goals into intelligent agent workflows that transform how accounting gets done. As the primary interface with our customers, you'll also be providing constant feedback to our Engineering team on product improvements, directly impacting the future of our platform. Ideally, you will have the following experience:
4+ years at a fast‑paced Enterprise SaaS or fintech startup, or at a company that deploys complex SaaS solutions, where you worked closely with customers on onboarding, implementation, and training
Extensive experience managing enterprise relations, ideally with large accounting firms
Accounting experience and/or CPA are a plus, but not required

Location : NYC, Flatiron office. In‑person team.

In accordance with New York State regulations, the salary range for this position is $100,000–$250,000. This range represents our broad compensation philosophy and covers various responsibility and experience levels. Additionally, all employees are eligible to participate in our equity plan and benefits program. We are committed to meritocratic and competitive compensation.
