Perform service, maintenance, and repairs on a wide variety of ammonia and Freon-based refrigeration systems. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to screw and reciprocating compressors, electrical systems, and alarm/control systems. Deliver expert-level diagnostics and hands‑on repairs on complex industrial systems in food, beverage, and cold storage facilities. Respond to routine and emergency service calls with professionalism and urgency. Maintain a clean, organized work truck with proper inventory of tools and parts. Follow all safety procedures and company policies on‑site and while traveling. Accurately complete service reports, document findings, and communicate effectively with clients and team members. Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years of hands‑on field experience with industrial ammonia refrigeration systems. Advanced knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and compressor control systems. Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing screw compressors and refrigeration alarms/control systems. Strong troubleshooting skills across refrigeration, mechanical, and electrical systems. Ability to read and interpret technical documents, manuals, and drawings. Excellent communication skills and commitment to customer satisfaction. CARO or CIRO certification a plus. Valid driver's license with clean driving record. Ability to work independently, travel daily throughout Ohio, and occasionally work nights/weekends. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work safely at heights. Benefits
