We are looking for a Fraud Prevention Analyst that can support our Enterprise Risk Management team on the detection, analysis, investigation, resolution and prevention/mitigation of operational losses within the appropriate laws and regulations. The Fraud Prevention Analyst will analyze new, changing, and pending laws that will impact the Credit Union, develop and work on improving our current fraud-related policies. What you'll do:
Analyzes and investigates accounts, checks, ACH, wire, loan and online banking fraud and collaborate with departments on credit fraud
Formalizes mitigation on identified risks and losses related to fraudulent activities and high-risk behaviors for employees, new and existing members and third-party business partners
Identify suspected fraud activity, transaction patterns, member behavior and fraudulent patterns
Provides insights and recommendations to support fraud strategies that address high risk transactions to minimize risk and minimize losses
Creates enterprise-wide trend and actionable reports to Executive Management
Files law enforcement and other applicable regulatory agency reports, preserving cyber and paper evidence, facilitating day-to-day alerts, investigations, and communicating with appropriate departments on fraud trends
Creates and delivers training materials, and prepares reports for Board of Directors
What you'll bring:
Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
CFE Certification, BSA certification
Intermediate Excel and Word Proficiency
Experience with legal documentation preferred
Typical office work environment. Hybrid work schedule may be available after successful completion of initial onboarding and training period.
Salary Wage will range from $35 to $40 per hour. This salary range represents the base pay for grade 10 and does not include additional perks. Final compensation will be determined based on qualification, experience, and location.
