Description : Position Overview
As a Logistics and Domestic Traffic Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless movement of goods across our domestic supply chain. This full-time, exempt position reports to the Logistics Manager and is central to maintaining operational excellence and supporting our company’s growth.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate the end-to-end movement of components and finished goods between vendors, fillers, and warehouses—from purchase order creation through to final delivery.
Serve as the primary point of contact for carriers, managing all communications to schedule and confirm pickups and deliveries.
Maintain and update the Domestic Dashboard, providing accurate, real-time tracking of all shipments and inventory movements.
Communicate shipment ETAs and status updates to buyers, planners, and the operations team, ensuring all stakeholders are informed.
Oversee and organize all shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, packing lists, invoices, and Safety Data Sheets, ensuring compliance and proper record-keeping.
Track and coordinate all inbound and outbound shipments, proactively resolving issues and supporting the timely flow of goods.
Ensure adherence to vendor routing guides and compliance with all shipping regulations, including Hazmat requirements.
Access and manage customer vendor portals to retrieve orders and route shipments efficiently.
Prepare shipping labels and documentation for UPS, FedEx, and sample shipments.
Support inventory management by verifying availability and processing transfers as needed.
Requirements : Core Competencies
Proficiency with logistics platforms such as WorldShip (UPS) and Ship Manager (FedEx), as well as Microsoft Word and Excel.
Strong multitasking and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment.
Strategic thinking and meticulous attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to execute Hazmat shipping and maintain compliance with routing guidelines.
