Estimated Pay Range:
$76,000 - $85,500.
Core Hours:
1:00 pm to 9:30 pm (Monday - Friday)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide leadership for Production, Filling, Receiving, and Blow Mold employees, including shift scheduling, team building, motivation, training, conflict resolution, performance evaluations, attendance monitoring, and disciplinary actions as needed. Promote safety by leading the team in safety programs, identifying and eliminating risks, and encouraging safe work habits. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and GMPs. Collaborate with production control, customer service, and warehousing to meet order fulfillment requirements accurately and timely. Maintain customer satisfaction regarding quality and accuracy while optimizing operational efficiencies. Manage inventory, conduct shift start meetings, develop and implement training, oversee housekeeping, and address filling errors with corrective actions. Ensure equipment is properly maintained and operational, working with maintenance on machinery issues. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education and Experience: 5-7 years of experience in milk/food production, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role. Experience with inventory management systems. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Skills and Competencies: Self-motivated with the ability to coach and motivate others positively. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, comfortable speaking before groups. Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Other Information: Working Conditions: Factory environment with varying noise and heat levels. Occasional opportunity for varied work routines. Physical Demands: Stand for long periods (minimum 6 hours). Sit occasionally for short periods. Walk frequently. Bend and twist occasionally. Lift light loads ( Carry light loads (30-50 lbs) over short distances. Pushing/Pulling up to 75 lbs infrequently without assistance. SQF Responsibilities: Maintain food safety and quality, ensuring a sanitary work environment. Maintain documentation and Food Defense and Emergency Preparedness programs. Report food safety issues promptly. Backup support for other supervisors and the Production Manager.
