Maintenance Technician IV
– OXB – Durham, NC, US
Join our Facilities team as a Maintenance Technician IV. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting facility systems within GMP and non‑GMP areas, ensuring safe, reliable operation of utilities, equipment and infrastructure, playing a key part in advancing our mission and making a real difference.
Responsibilities
Maintain and operate plant utilities (HVAC, water, steam, electrical, plumbing) per SOPs and GMP standards.
Lead and perform maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting to keep facilities in qualified condition.
Support site electrical systems, emergency generators and distribution.
Develop maintenance plans and documentation; ensure traceability and compliance.
Supervise contractors and oversee external maintenance activities to meet quality and safety standards.
Support risk assessments, audits and validation activities.
Provide on‑call and off‑shift support as needed.
Qualifications
Strong working knowledge of utilities (HVAC, water systems, compressed air, steam, process gases, etc.).
Experience with CMMS, BMS or SCADA systems.
High school diploma or associate degree in a technical discipline.
Previous GMP experience preferred.
Excellent problem‑solving, communication and teamwork skills.
Reliable, proactive and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
