Location: UHealth Tower The Customer Service Representative (U) is responsible for providing the first impression and setting the tone for the patient, family, or visitor experience. This includes creating ID badges for patients, families, and visitors, providing directions, assisting with parking validations, and supporting patients, families, and visitors. The ideal candidate should be friendly, empathetic, knowledgeable, well-spoken, and customer-oriented. Core Job Functions

Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy following HIPAA requirements. Prioritize safety, customer service, care, and satisfaction in every interaction. Badge all patients, families, and visitors entering the hospital. Create online profiles for patients, families, and visitors for faster badge issuance. Demonstrate professionalism and kindness, adhering to CICARE and ACT frameworks. Assist patients, families, and visitors with their needs and information. Escort patients and assist with wheelchair transportation as needed. Verify appointments in EPIC for parking validation. Collaborate with Public Safety regarding visitors with restrictions. Maintain a clean and professional work environment. Work weekend and evening shifts as required. Qualifications

Proficiency in English; multilingual skills preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with professionalism and empathy. Strong multitasking and time-management skills. Excellent communication skills, positive attitude, and professional appearance. Education and Experience

High School diploma or equivalent. Prior customer service experience is helpful. Knowledge, Skills, and Attitudes

Commitment to university’s core values. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Effective oral and written communication skills. Ability to anticipate patient, family, and visitor needs.
