Job Summary

The Supply Chain Manager oversees and manages purchasing activities, ensuring efficient and cost-effective acquisition of necessary Facilities Management (FM) services while maintaining quality standards and mitigating supply chain risks. Key responsibilities include developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships and contracts, negotiating prices, monitoring vendor performance, and analyzing spending to identify cost-saving opportunities. The Supply Chain Manager also ensures compliance with NMRK and client policies, relevant regulations, and collaborates with internal stakeholders to meet business objectives. Responsibilities

Define category and demand profiles for FM subcategories such as janitorial, security, landscaping, snow removal, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing. Assess the FM supply market and develop category strategies in coordination with Newmark Category Management. Lead sourcing events, negotiations, contract awards, and supplier onboarding. Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with new and existing suppliers, including risk mitigation, performance monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure supplier compliance with service levels. Leverage systems (SAP, Smartsheet, MS Office) for data-driven decision-making. Serve as the interface between Operations and Client stakeholders. Liaise with the Legal department. Build strong working relationships with other workstreams to align procurement with operational needs. Prepare and communicate project plans, timelines, and assignments. Provide regular updates and ensure stakeholder satisfaction. Collaborate to ensure procurement strategies support Client’s business objectives. Be proactive, managing internal and external customer expectations. Develop and implement effective procurement strategies and policies to align with overall business objectives and ensure a reliable supply chain. Manage and be responsible for the procurement plan to ensure savings targets are achieved in a sustainable manner. Track and manage procurement budgets, analyze spending patterns, and identify opportunities to reduce costs while ensuring the quality of services and goods. Lead contract negotiations to secure advantageous terms, pricing, and quality levels. Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop procedures and strategies to mitigate them. Build collaborative, cross-functional relationships. Manage and develop a remote procurement team. Foster open dialogue and provide coaching to drive team performance. Translate business plans into strategic procurement actions. Oversee work assignments and align team efforts to achieve results. Identify and address improvement opportunities. May perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, administration, supply chain, or related field. 7+ years in procurement, sourcing, or category management. Experience in real estate and facilities management. Experience with ERP/procurement platforms (SAP, Ariba, Smartsheet, MS Office). Proven experience influencing all levels of an organization. Experience working for a top Commercial Real Estate Services firm a plus. Professional certification (CPSM, CIPS, PMP) preferred. Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders and to negotiate favorable terms. Strong problem-solving and data analysis capabilities to forecast needs, evaluate proposals, and identify cost-saving opportunities. Working Conditions

The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
