Assistant Project Manager/Construction Manager

We are looking for a skilled and driven professional to take on a dynamic role split evenly between construction management and quality assurance for roofing, pavement, and building envelope projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards while maintaining safety and compliance. Travel is anticipated to be 80% of the time.
General Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of a facilities engineering project to ensure that it is safely completed on time and within scope and budget. Responsible for completing the project as per its contracted scope; monitor progress and performance against the project plan. Troubleshoot and recommend or resolve operational problems and minimize delays. May be responsible for resource management, project scheduling, budgets and forecasts, and working with external vendors, subcontractors or contractors. Conduct meetings and prepare reports to communicate the status of the project to the project team and client. Set priorities, assign tasks, and coordinate project staff to meet project targets and milestones. May have responsibilities to communicate with the client and deliver work products to the satisfaction of the client. Coordinate efforts with APR to ensure engagement throughout the project, particularly at critical junctures. Involved with approving invoices, preparing change orders, and collections. 80% of the time. Essential responsibilities: Construction Management
Plan, coordinate, budget, and supervise construction projects on-site from start to finish. Identify and resolve project-related risks, issues, or delays. Review project plans and specifications to determine scheduling, budgeting, and resource needs. Ensure compliance with legal requirements, building and safety codes, and other regulations. Monitor project progress and report on performance to management team and client. Prepare and present project status reports and documentation. Track construction production quantities. Develop a site-specific safety plan. Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance. Promote Terracon's

Manage, coordinate, and supervise subcontractors and construction activities to complete the project on schedule, with quality conformance, and within budget. Assist management in preparing and maintaining construction schedules and resolving issues that may impede schedule, quality, or cost. Generate and oversee construction documentation, including daily field forms, safety forms, SDS, as-builts, and punch lists. Essential responsibilities: On-Site Quality Assurance
Verify that construction activities conform to plans and specifications. Verify materials installed onsite are approved in the submittal log. Coordinate communication between subcontractors and the project team. Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 3 years' related experience. Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history. OSHA 10 Certification. Ability to read and interpret design drawings and specifications. Strong oral and written communication skills.
