ArrowMark Partners is seeking a Jr. Investment Operations Associate for the operations team. The candidate will work closely with analysts and portfolio managers to help ensure portfolio compliance, cash management, accuracy of loan attributes, waterfall modeling, vendor relationship management, and oversight of third-party administrators. Operations Associates must demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent verbal/written skills, interpersonal skills, an ability to multitask, and maintain composure under pressure. The ideal candidate must be a highly resourceful self-starter with a solid work ethic and a desire to learn.Position is in-office to benefit from the firm’s collaborative nature. Key Responsibilities: Monitor coverage and collateral quality tests, portfolio concentration limitations and other tests as specified by the indentures. Communicate material changes to Portfolio Managers Create security specific hypothetical trade scenarios, measure results and communicate findings to portfolio managers Ensure timely and accurate responses to ad-hoc requests from portfolio managers for hypothetical trade scenarios, due diligence questionnaires, and cash flow projections Liaise with the trustees, administrators and underwriters on trades, payments, report tie outs etc. Support warehouse servicing for new CLOs Book primary and secondary trades into system, resolve trade discrepancies with counterparties in a timely fashion; oversight of loan/bond closing/settlement teams Monitor the reconciliation of trustee cash files Daily elections for repricing/refinancing amendments Monitor issuer and security level rating changes Support projects and research for partners and portfolio managers Compile monthly internal reporting Responsible for the calculation of projected waterfall models, review and approval of trustee/admin reports and waterfalls Oversee corporate action election process, direct and oversee amendment processing at Middle Office and Trustees Collaborate with CLO Team, broader Investment Operations department, entire operations group, and firm on other work relating to the CLO business that overlaps with other business lines (e.g. CLO Equity held by other vehicles, data initiatives, etc) Drive a continuous improvement mindset in the team and firm and build on enhancing the day-to-day workflow Help the team refine relationship management and oversight of outsourced Middle Office provider and trustees Required Education / Certifications, Experience, Competencies & Skills: 0 - 2 years’ experience in middle/back-office operations Completion of undergraduate studies in business, economics, accounting or mathematical sciences Intermediate Microsoft Office Strong attention to detail, Ability to learn new topics and quickly show mastery of subjects Interest in investment management, all vehicle types, but specifically CLOs Desire to become subject matter expert in bank loans, credit agreements, indentures, waterfall modeling, position reconciliation, and various operational ecosystems Independently initiates and leads initiatives Track record of working well as part of a team Additional Information : ArrowMark Partners is an equal opportunity employer. and Benefits : The base salary range for this position is approximated to be $60,000 – $80,000 USD. Actual pay will be based on the skills and experience of each candidate Position is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus award. Individual bonuses are determined based on individual, team, and company performance §Eligible employees are offered a full suite of benefit options that includes comprehensive health and life benefits, 401(k) plan, flexible and health spending programs and access to a variety of voluntary benefits 1 The salary range is posted in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act.
