What you'll do: Be a Team Member: Maintains up-to date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborates with cross functional teams and helps educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources; communicates effectively with the team; and remains flexible to work in other areas as needed. Be an Expert: Prepares food according to item specifications; plans future productions and mass productions; prepares for seasonality; adheres to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment; demonstrates understanding of product and layout execution. Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; uses handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, ordering merchandise, receiving club pickup orders, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them. Be an Owner: Drives area performance; stocks and rotates merchandise; ensures quality and date control; eliminates waste; provides member service by acknowledging the member and identifying needs; assists members with purchasing decisions; supports payment types; locates merchandise; resolves member issues and concerns. Be a Talent Ambassador: Acts as a brand advocate; develops, influences and inspires others to work in a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented style; helps identify and address roadblocks and supports training. Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; uses the Open Door Policy; applies these in executing business processes and practices.
