Save Job

We create the moments for people to fall in love with healthcare brands.

Jack Health is an award-winning, global experiential healthcare marketing agency that combines our industry, scientific, and regulatory expertise with the world-class creative and brand experience chops of Jack Morton. We deliver extraordinary experiences that transform how patients, HCPs, and employees connect with healthcare brands.

Whether pharma, biotech, device, health tech, aesthetics, or wellness, we believe extraordinary experiences create more meaningful relationships between brands and the audiences that are most important to them.

As the

Strategist, Jack Health US,

you are a key member in our creative-idea-generating, strategic-thinking, problem-solving community. You bring expertise, experience, and a point-of-view in the healthcare category, making our teams sharper and smarter about our key audiences, including consumers, patients, and healthcare professionals (HCPs), and you are ready to dive

into the work.

You’ll provide category and persona insight, blended with sparks of inspiration. You’re a credible healthcare category expert and strategist who is comfortable as a thinker, writer, doer, problem solver, and teacher. You willingly raise a hand to brief a creative team, frame out a content agenda, aggregate research, co-create messaging, and partner with the account, content, creative, and production colleagues to design extraordinary experiences/programs/platforms for our clients.

Some examples:

For (internally-facing) Employee Communications, strategic outputs may be:

Tone and Format:

guide program design based on employee mindset and goals

Messaging:

set messaging matrix: guide use of primary, secondary messages

Comms Plan:

content/channel/cadence for comms programs and initiatives

For (externally-facing) HCP Engagement, Congresses, and Campaigns, strategic outputs may be:

Audience Insight:

summary to best understand HCPs, media, and other influencers

Portfolio Planning:

assess current plan and modify to best achieve objectives

Measurement:

define mix of KPIs to prove plan in delivery

At Jack Health, we love what we do. We believe that extraordinary strategic and creative work can solve business challenges and transform brands. But we also know that talk is cheap (and people don’t trust it). Which is why the most powerful brands in the 21st century are experience brands.

Who you are:

A healthcare category expert, with roots in pharmaceutical, biotech, consumer health, or medical device clients. (HCP and/or omnichannel experience is a bonus!)

A strategist who is equally comfortable with work that is for internal and external audiences.

Ideally, knows the experiential marketing space, specifically around healthcare, and has a POV on how best to engage audiences within the limits of the regulatory environment.

Can translate and synthesize scientific and therapeutic content, crystallize ideas and insights, and communicate it out with style.

Likes unearthing data to inform insights and direction; is comfortable with qual & quant data and analysis, and with developing measurement platforms to track client successes.

Able to roll-up your sleeves on projects, accounts, and across new business, both independently and (often) in support of the SVP Strategy, Jack Health.

Excited to join Jack Health US and work inside and outside of strategy lines to help our lean team to quickly grow.

A collaborator who ideates well with others in a manner of “yes, and…”.

You make others around you better – and the work too!

As comfortable talking with the intern as with the CMO.

If you can do all that, you have what it takes. It might also help if…

At least 2-5 years into your creative career at an agency, with at least 3 in a role that includes strategic deliverables (i.e. research, briefs, strategic upfront for client proposals) that plays in the brand experience space, and your client mix has been predominantly in healthcare.

You’ve had a title like senior strategist, medical strategist, or engagement strategist, but we also know there are tons of different titles across agencies, so don’t fret this too much.

Proven track record solving problems and delivering creatively strategic, insightful solutions for a variety of clients.

As brilliant at working alone (self-motivated) as you are as part of a team (the motivator).

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including presentation expertise.

A believer in collaboration, in seeing the work through, and making the work and others shine.

Someone who embodies Jack Morton’s values of passion, agility, respect, and inclusion.

Jack Morton and Genuine are equal opportunity employers; we strongly value diversity at our companies. We do not discriminate on race, religion, color, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, age, marital status, veteran status, or any other basis prohibited by law.
