Strategic Partnerships Division
as part of the
Community Leaders Learnership Programme . This learnership is ideal for passionate young individuals who want to gain hands-on experience in public service, community engagement, and multi-sector partnerships — while building solid professional and leadership skills. About the Learnership
Participants will rotate through strategic areas focused on driving positive impact across South African communities. Key departments and functions include: Community Communications & Customer Relations Executive and Council Support Services Human Resources & Legal Affairs Information & Knowledge Management, IT & Systems Policy, Strategy, and Organisational Effectiveness Urban Planning, Housing, and Infrastructure Climate Action, Environment, and Disaster Risk Health, Safety, and Emergency Services Social Development, Education, and Recreation Finance, Budgeting & Business Resource Management Key Responsibilities
Assist in implementing community-based projects and development strategies Support local leaders and SayPro managers with administration, outreach, and research Participate in stakeholder meetings, workshops, and awareness campaigns Assist with documentation, knowledge-sharing, and performance tracking Contribute to data collection, reporting, and improvement of public services Gain exposure to digital systems, community engagement tools, and legal frameworks Minimum Requirements
South African citizen aged
18–35 Grade 12 (Matric)
minimum qualification Residing in a community where SayPro operates or willing to travel Basic computer literacy and interest in public service or development work No prior permanent work experience required Must be
unemployed and available full-time
during the learnership Strong communication, teamwork, and willingness to learn What You Gain

Learnership Certificate
