JOB DESCRIPTION: WAREHOUSE CLERK UNIT 8910 JOB SUMMARY:
Hold primary responsibility for processes to control warehouse inventory, including counting, processing, data entry, and distribution. This position reports to the Warehouse Manager. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Monitor arrival, process, and distribute all retail merchandise to and from warehouse. Enter purchase orders and assist in retail database maintenance; ticket, handle, and pack merchandise. Complete reports related to damages/shortages, returned merchandise, etc. Assist in store setup and teardown at season beginning and end, and product merchandising. Perform other related duties as directed or required. Assist in laundry and office cleaning as needed. SKILL AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE: High School Diploma/G.E.D. equivalent required; some college preferred. General Windows-based computer use; knowledge of retail POS system preferred. Strong accuracy and attention to detail required. PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements within the unit. Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment. Lift, carry, and push up to 15 lbs. regularly, 20-25 lbs. frequently, and up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Ability to stand for the entire workday and climb stairs regularly. Endure temperature extremes in freezer, refrigerator, walk-in, and warehouse. Reading and writing work-related documents in English. Speech recognition and clarity, including understanding and being understood by vendors, drivers, and co-workers. Constant verbal communication with other employees in fast-paced environments. Physical presence at the job site is essential. Ability to travel between different units within the park. EQUIPMENT USED: Dolly, rolling cart Typical office equipment (computers, phone system, fax, copiers, scanners, among others). Required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): goggles and gloves.
