Job Description
We are representing a well-regarded law firm seeking a Corporate Associate to join its Salt Lake City office. This role will primarily focus on Mergers & Acquisitions, with opportunities to work on capital markets transactions, ’34 Act projects, and a variety of general corporate matters such as corporate restructurings, strategic partnerships, fund formation, and private equity and venture capital investments.
Responsibilities
Work primarily in the Mergers & Acquisitions practice group. Handle capital markets transactions, corporate restructurings, fund formation, and strategic partnerships. Advise on private equity and venture capital investments. Assist clients with a range of general corporate matters. Work collaboratively with a talented team of attorneys and participate in business development activities.
Qualifications
JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school with top academic credentials. 2-4 years of corporate experience, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions and ideally capital markets experience. Strong written and oral communication skills. Utah bar admission or the ability to become licensed in Utah. Bilingual or multilingual candidates are preferred.
