Delivery Consultant role with AWS Professional Services focusing on DevOps and modernization for federal-financial domains. Responsible for designing, implementing, and managing AWS solutions that meet technical requirements and business objectives, and for guiding customers through their cloud journey with best practices throughout the project lifecycle. Description The AWS Professional Services (ProServe) team seeks a skilled Senior Delivery Consultant to join our team at AWS. You will design, implement, and manage AWS solutions, work with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, propose migration strategies, and lead the implementation while optimizing performance and managing risks. You will provide guidance on industry trends and emerging technologies, acting as a trusted advisor to customers. The AWS Professional Services organization is a global team that helps customers realize their desired business outcomes when using the AWS Cloud. We collaborate with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives and offer focused guidance through global specialty practices across solutions, technologies, and industries. This position requires that the candidate be a US citizen and have the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance or higher. Key job responsibilities

Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts About The Team

Knowledge of primary AWS services including EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53, and S3 Experience implementing AWS services in distributed computing environments Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation Preferred Qualifications

Experience with a wide range of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation) AWS Professional-level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional) preferred Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Terraform, Python) Knowledge of security and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR) Strong communication skills for explaining technical concepts to diverse audiences Experience designing and building applications with AWS services such as Lambda, Elastic Beanstalk, Kubernetes Experience designing, developing, and maintaining search and analytics solutions (OpenSearch, Kibana) Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on protected characteristics. Compensation: The base pay range is $118,200 to $204,300/year, with total compensation potentially including equity and other incentives based on location, role, and experience.
