Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented Import/Export Operations Specialist.

What You Will Be Doing: Manage the day-to-day interaction and coordination of the import/export of seeds and non-seed items (including chemicals, specialized products, and research materials) entering or exiting the US. This role is critical to delivering the business by ensuring that Import and Export Operations meet compliance and customs requirements, are accurate and efficient, and meet customer and production demands. The import of materials directly impacts production sites, and Exports support foreign manufacturing sites as well as sales to end customers.

Key Responsibilities:

With minimal supervision, you will perform Import/Export activities in compliance with Government rules and regulations, organizational policies, procedures, goals, and objectives.

You will be responsible for expediting the import/export process by liaising with regional coordinators, Warehousing/Distribution, and Plant & Production planning.

Responsibilities include coordinating logistics for import/export shipments (ocean, air, land, rail) working closely with freight forwarders, brokers, and internal stakeholders.

You must ensure all work is completed in a timely and compliant manner, adhering to all internal policies and government regulations.

You will be responsible for ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant with US and foreign customer requirements.

You will participate in internal or external (USCBP/EPA) audits and be responsible for auditing team members’ files to ensure they are maintained in audit‑ready status.

You will develop, maintain, and train team members and stakeholders on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Required Skills & Experience:

3+ years of experience in Business, Supply Chain, International Commerce, or a related field.

Strong working knowledge of data systems such as MS Office Suite, ACE, SAP.

Proficiency in Import/Export regulations and compliance requirements.

Experience in logistics coordination across various transportation modes.

Strong project management, organizational, and time‑management skills.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Ability to maintain audit‑ready documentation and work flexible hours.

Desired Skills & Experience:

Familiarity with agricultural and chemical product regulations.

Knowledge of trade compliance operations and shipping logistics.

Experience with Amber Road, GTS, or OneSource systems.

Understanding of governmental agency regulations (APHIS, USDA, EPA, Customs & Border Protection).

Certification in Trade Compliance or related fields a plus.

Pay:

$21.00 – $30.00 /hr.
