Responsibilities
Supervise and manage a team of maintenance technicians and support staff.
Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to reduce equipment downtime.
Lead troubleshooting efforts for mechanical, electrical, and system issues.
Enforce safety protocols and ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including safety checks and repairs.
Coordinate with procurement to manage inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
Oversee the use of external contractors for specialized repairs and services.
Monitor and manage the maintenance budget, controlling costs and optimizing resource use.
Prepare detailed reports on maintenance activities, equipment performance, and downtime incidents.
Train and mentor maintenance team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field is preferred.
4+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and facilities systems.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Proficiency in using maintenance management software and tools.
Knowledge of regulatory standards related to facility maintenance and safety.
