Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced
Project Manager
to lead commercial ground-up construction projects from pre‑construction through final completion. As the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, you’ll ensure each project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
You’ll collaborate closely with Superintendents, Estimators, Admins, and Operations teams to proactively plan, execute, and close out projects, maintaining full accountability for project performance and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Lead
project planning, pre‑construction , and kickoff meetings (internal and external).
Manage
project budgets , financial tracking, and cost control to ensure profitability.
Oversee
subcontractor buyout , contract negotiations, and scope alignment.
Administer and manage
RFIs, submittals, plan updates , and all construction documentation.
Issue
monthly payment applications
and manage project
cash flow forecasts .
Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks.
Monitor project progress through detailed
scheduling
and coordination.
Collaborate with the Superintendent to align
long‑range planning
with daily site execution.
Manage
change orders, invoices,
and
purchase orders
for owners and subcontractors.
Provide
weekly project updates
and facilitate clear, consistent communication with all stakeholders.
Drive project to
Substantial and Final Completion , ensuring closeout documentation and punch‑list items are resolved.
Qualifications
Minimum
5 years of experience
managing
commercial ground‑up construction
projects.
Demonstrated success in
budget management, schedule oversight , and team leadership.
Strong understanding of
construction contracts , risk mitigation, and safety standards.
Proficiency in
project management software
(e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Procore).
Excellent
communication, negotiation , and
problem‑solving
skills.
Ability to manage
multiple projects
in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
Commitment to
jobsite safety , quality construction, and exceptional client service.
