Job Description Carlisle Weatherproofing Technologies is currently seeking a Customer Service / Order Management Specialist to join our CCW team in Wylie, TX. The function of this role is to be the primary contact between our company and the distributors. This role is responsible for responding to orders, customers, and representative requests promptly and accurately. The CSR / OMS will be expected to form strong relationships with customers and manufacturer's representatives, as well as all internal groups (Sales, Marketing, Production, Shipping, etc.).

Duties and Responsibilities

Handle all customer requests, manage customer orders from placement through shipment with attention to detail while providing accurate lead times and pricing verification.

Issue prompt credit, debit or return material authorizations.

Monitor backorders and communicate in a timely manner with customers on backorder situations.

Review open orders on a regular basis and close out old orders as necessary.

Maintain a network of appropriate contacts within the various departments such as Traffic, Shipping, Purchasing, Financial Service, Production, etc.

Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

Work Environment / Time Worked

Office setting with 2 days hybrid.

Hours Worked - 8 : 00 A.M. to 5 : 00 P.M.

Days of Week Worked - Monday through Friday (hybrid days will be Monday and Friday).

Position Requirements Education & Experience Requirements

Education : Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience : Minimum of three years of customer service experience.

Equivalency : Combination of education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Essential Full Performance Knowledge:

Order entry (orders, credits, debits and RMA’s).

Basic inquiry screens and queries.

Proper processing of credit and debit memos; and pricing corrections

Understanding of inventory screens (MD04).

Re-creation of order acknowledgements and invoices.

Basic knowledge of shipping processes.

Essential Full Performance Skills: Solid organizational, communication, and follow-up skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. MathSAP or other ERP system knowledge. CRM knowledge.

Essential Full Performance Abilities: Form strong positive relationship with customers, reps, team members, and regional managers. Ability to negotiate. Must be able to multitask.
