Position 2nd Shift Warehouse Operations Supervisor

Job Type: Full-time; On-site

Responsibilities

Oversee and supervise a work group to meet department goals.

Provide leadership to assigned personnel through effective goal setting, performance reviews, delegation, and communication.

Provide measurable feedback, suggestions for improved performance, and recognition for achievements.

Conduct interviews, hiring, and training as necessary.

Support the safety programs to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements. Maintain a safe working environment for all associates.

Assist with process improvement initiatives.

Conduct regular meetings to ensure that personnel are well informed of policies and procedures. Continually enforce productivity standards.

Ensure excellent customer service and communication.

Receive and verify incoming products for accuracy and completeness, ensuring all items are properly stocked and organized.

Load trucks efficiently by selecting products for daily and special deliveries, ensuring optimal use of space and safe handling of all items.

Process returned merchandise by inspecting and counting items, restocking inventory as appropriate, managing outbound vendor returns, completing warranty documentation, and unloading customer or inventory transfers from corporate warehouses.

Operate power equipment, including forklifts.

May work as a backup driver as assigned or directed.

Experience

Minimum of 3 years of related experience required

Proven ability to supervise and support assistant receivers and warehouse staff

Proficient in or willing to learn relevant computer systems and technology

Flexible and dependable, with the ability to work overtime or adjust hours as needed

Strong attention to detail with excellent memory, scanning, communication, and math skills

Physically capable of lifting up to 65 lbs. with proper equipment and regularly working at heights up to 20 feet

Ability to operate or learn to operate a forklift

May require a valid driver’s license and adherence to company driving policies

This position offers a competitive base salary.
