Job Title : Front Desk Customer Service Representative (Part Time)
Reports to : General Manager/Assistant General Manager
FLSA Status : Non-exempt
Goldfish Swim School is seeking qualified applicants for a
Front Desk Representative
at our location in
Braintree, MA . This position promotes quality customer service and processes sales and registration transactions. And, acts as the first point of contact for potential and current Goldfish customers and as such is responsible for presenting a positive image for the company.
Duties and Responsibilities
Greets visitors and checks students in on the computer system.
Discusses membership options with prospective families and registers new students using effective sales techniques.
Answers incoming phone calls and emails in a professional manner, directs inquiries and messages to the proper staff member.
Assists members with purchases of merchandise and vending, including tuition collection and resolving account inquiries.
Schedules and manages birthday/pool parties.
Prepares student schedules for instructors and schedules private parties.
Resolves customer concerns/complaints using a professional approach and follow-up.
Provides occasional administrative support for management personnel, including the General Manager and Assistant General Manager.
Enforces safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents. Administers first aid when necessary.
Fulfills other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Employer.
Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required. Some college preferred.
One year of previous customer service and/or administrative office experience.
One year of previous direct sales experience.
Intermediate computer skills required with knowledge using Microsoft Office.
Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
In-person and Phone Sales experience.
Work environment : While performing this job, the employee is sometimes exposed to heat and humidity. Noise level is usually moderate.
