Director, Compliance Search at HowardSloan Search

A highly regarded wealth management firm is seeking a The Portfolio Operations Analyst.

This position is responsible for administering all client related transactions through the trade order lifecycle in an accurate and timely manner, providing support to the portfolio management process.

Responsibilities

Trade Support:

Review all orders sent to the trade blotter for accuracy & appropriateness, route approved orders to outsourced trading desk, update orders as instructed by PMs, and allocate orders to participating accounts upon completion. Create new orders as instructed by PMs.

Performance & Reporting:

Assist in the calculation & verification of investment performance data. Prepare & generate various reports for internal stakeholders & clients, including portfolio valuations, performance summaries, & dispersion analysis.

Compliance Management:

Collaborate with PMs & Compliance as needed to resolve potential investment guidelines and restrictions. Support internal & external audits by providing necessary documentation & data.

Operations & Reconciliation:

Support the trading process by ensuring all trades are accurately captured, confirmed, & settled. Reconcile portfolio data, including cash, positions, and transactions, with custodians and brokers on a daily basis. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies promptly.

Operational Improvement:

Identify & implement opportunities to streamline and automate operational processes. Collaborate with technology teams to test & deploy new systems or enhancements.

Data Management:

Maintain the integrity of our portfolio management systems and databases. Ensure all security data, corporate actions, and other market events are accurately reflected. Ensure the accuracy of client & custodian contact information & settlement instructions.

Qualifications

A minimum of 1 year trading or operations related investment management experience is required.

Must possess proficiency in Microsoft Office application & trade order management systems like Ridgeline, DTCC ID Suite, Broadridge ProxyEdge
