The Lake Mary Hospital is a cutting‑edge acute care facility providing comprehensive medical services. We invite an experienced Inventory Coordinator to manage procedural supply inventory, maintain requisitions, and support supply chain initiatives.

Position Summary Responsible for coordinating and assisting with daily inventory management and control for procedural supply areas, using analytical tools to capture spend and utilization data.

Responsibilities

Provide supply management for OR/Specialty areas through maintaining, monitoring, adjusting, and replenishing inventory; processing requisitions and expediting orders.

Process consignment requisitions accurately and timely, including contract verification and vendor coordination.

Research and implement opportunities to improve efficiencies and reduce costs; evaluate and adjust par levels.

Maintain order guides, organize storerooms, and update labeling systems to ensure efficient ordering and inventory processes.

Collaborate with corporate for item activations, contract issues, and item integrity in Epic.

Process non‑stock order requisitions, follow up with purchasing as needed.

Review procedural schedules for future case needs (implants, specialty supplies).

Drive approved conversions and coordinate new product trials.

Coordinate tissue tracking system responsibilities.

Participate in meeting or exceeding departmental and individual goals.

Handle recall notifications and coordinate returns with procurement.

Review on‑hand quantities, caseload schedules, and physician needs daily.

Communicate with procedural teams to resolve supply issues and reconcile products.

Serve as liaison for Supply Chain, vendors, and service line specialists.

Facilitate equivalent product substitutions with service line specialists and corporate analysts.

Maintain reconciliation of borrowed/loaned products between departments or other facilities.

Receive and verify shipments ordered through the requisition process.

Restock supplies promptly upon delivery and perform bill‑only process as required.

Build and maintain relationships with customers to ensure needs are met.

Take ownership of assignments and act as primary resource for clinical colleagues.

Update and manage inventory and par levels for annual inventory.

Maintain attendance in compliance with Orlando Health policies, ADA, FMLA, and applicable standards.

Maintain compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.

Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:

High‑school diploma or GED equivalent; an associate’s degree can substitute up to 2 years of experience; a bachelor’s degree can substitute up to 4 years of experience.

Experience:

Six (6) years of related experience within an inventory‑management environment; familiarity with automated supply chain systems.

Licensing/Certification:

Valid driver’s license.

Skills:

Warehouse organization and operational experience; computer literacy including MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel); ability to perform all aspects of the bill‑only process.
