POSITION:
Facility Maintenance Manager LOCATION:
Woodruff, SC The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the maintenance team, including direction-setting, personnel development, oversight of work quality, development and implementation of improvements and measurement of results. The Maintenance Manager is responsible to act as the primary interface for Operations and Client by approving, prioritizing, and scheduling work. Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and adhere to annual maintenance budgets for equipment and facilities. Interview, hire, develop, and conduct annual reviews of maintenance staff. Create a work environment that promotes safety as the top priority. Develop, implement, monitor, evaluate and supervise all aspects of the maintenance operations (equipment, facility, grounds). Ensure that all equipment is operating properly and safely (MHE, conveyors, etc.). Evaluate work to be performed and identify resources necessary to complete. Ensure maintenance tasks are assigned and completed according to schedule and priority. Ensure all repairs are completed in accordance with manufacturer, company, OSHA, NFPA, DOT, etc. guidelines and policies. Record and track daily, weekly, annual equipment usage for proper PM servicing. Maintain vendor relationships, cost adherence, and parts inventory as required. Responsible for inspecting building and grounds and performing general building maintenance including dock levelers, racking, HVAC and lighting. Maintains forklift, transportation fleet and building maintenance operational history by initiating and updating records. Maintains safe work environment. Train and develop a skilled maintenance team. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities. Qualifications
5 years’ experience leading Maintenance Team Experience working on various components, including electrical, hydraulic, batteries, fuel cells Building maintenance experience including lighting, HVAC, dock doors, dock levelers, conveyors Excellent organizational and leadership skills Computer experience College degree, certifications, technical courses, and other specific training preferred Seniority level
